Our Travels

We love to travel, and have been fortunate to have been able to travel all around the world. We love exploring new places, learning about different cultures and enjoying the local food, all things we can’t wait to share with our child. For the first few years of our child’s life, we suspect that we will travel more locally discovering different places in the United States like the Grand Canyon and Yosemite. Then, once our child is old enough we hope to travel all over the world together exposing them to everything the world has to offer.

Some of our fondest travel memories are getting caught in a thunder storm late one night in Rome (we got soaked), lounging on the beach of a small island off the coast of Portugal and camping while on safari for several days in Tanzania.

We can’t forget to mention our annual Houseboat Trip! For the past 13 years, we’ve rented a houseboat at Lake Shasta with a group of 11 friends. It is something we look forward to months in advance. We love the lazy days of water-skiing and catching up. All of our friends are also starting their families and we all can’t wait to include the kids in the house-boating fun!
